Justin Eddy is a Chinese-Canadian theatre artist based in Toronto, ON. Primarily an actor, he also collaborates as a director, producer, administrator, dramaturg, coach and educator. 

He has performed with The Stratford Festival (Salesman in China, Wendy and Peter Pan, Richard II, Grand Magic, Love’s Labour’s Lost), The Charlottetown Festival (Anne of Green Gables the Musical, Tell Tale Harbour), The Grand Theatre (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cinderella, Elf the Musical, Hello Dolly, Les Misérables, Evita, A Christmas Carol, Home for the Holidays) and collaborated on projects with Crow’s Theatre, Tarragon Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille, Bad Hats, Theatre Direct, Centaur Theatre, Geordie Theatre and Brott Music Festival. Justin is a graduate of the acting program at the National Theatre School of Canada.

As an arts administrator, Justin has worked with Theatre Direct acting as an associate producer and as a festival coordinator for their Forward March Festival: Stand in the Place Where You Live. With Open Heart Arts, an intern producer assisting in the facilitating of drop-in art workshops that centre community members with lived experience of homelessness and/or substance abuse. Justin is now a freelance arts administrator and co-chair of the board for Theatre Direct.

Justin’s artistry stems from curiosity, risk and collaboration. He is passionate about cultivating spaces that support agency of the imagination and propels dialogues, discourse and action outside of the creative space.
